Butterfly Group

Welcome to the Butterfly Group. 

The Butterfly group is a small group of up to six children that happens twice a day to assist children who need a little or a lot of help with their speech and language development. The group supports children with various educational needs. We also feel that this group benefits children with their behaviour too.  

We Follow a visual timeline and the children learn the sign for each activity. The activities include signing and singing to the greeting song, taking turns to complete a puzzle or game, and listening to animals and everyday sounds. The children get to choose an instrument to play to the group and together we sing nursey rhymes. The children also learn to listen to and follow instructions.
